Well, we built our shack and it was quite an experience getting it over to the capitol and removing it but it did help a lot of people understand more about the education crisis in Mexico. I particularly have been touched by the opportunity or choices this gives. One of Bryson’s subcontracts was not able to attend a meeting where they learned about Escalera’s work. He sent one of his employees. He happened to be Latino. When he went back to work to report on the meeting he said to his boss “I came from a village like that. I didn’t know that things like this were being done in my country.”
